With the second batch of 6 Lifan Cross200 (LF200GY-5A) motorcycles already delivered to the police headquarters in Viana, Angola, local police department now has a fleet of 8 cross-country motorcycles in operation.
These Lifan motorcycles purchased by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Angola (CCCA) serve as patrol vehicle to support police actions around Viana. Since 2014, CCCA has established five liaison offices in Benfica, Camama, Kikuxi, Viana and Cacuaco, organized by Chinese companies in Angola, as a countermeasure to tackle with the deteriorating security situation.
According to Pan Jingjian, head of Viana iaison office, the Viana police department promptly deployed these motorcycles on the city’s highways, expanding its daily patrolling capabilities, and the coordination between liaison office and police has steadily improved ever since.
