American Lifan debuts 2017 lineup during AIMExpo

Release time:2016-10-16 09:34:56

From Oct. 13-16, American Lifan was in Orlando attending the 2016 American International Motorcycle Exposition (AIMExpo), the largest powersports tradeshows in the United States. All kinds of powersports manufacturers showed up to display and showcase their newest models and products, including almost all of the major industry leaders. As North America’s premiere powersports tradeshow, the show brought in a total of 18,399 attendees over the four days.

American Lifan had a large island booth on the main hall, showcasing our new products for the 2017 year. In the prime location was the KPR200, the 200cc championship bike. As American Lifan’s flagship model, it received the most attention from consumers and dealers alike. The competitive price and the amazing styling drew the attention of many types of consumers, ranging from beginning riders to those looking for a lower powered second or third bike.

The KPR’s little brother, the 150cc KPmini, also received a lot of attention. With the growing popularity of smaller pit bikes, consumers have been looking for an alternative to the relatively expensive Honda Grom. With a more powerful engine and more affordable price tag, the KPmini was very well received. Consumers praised its seat comfort, especially compared to other pit bikes, while being able to maintain an aggressive, sporty look.

Aside from motorcycles, American Lifan also brought two electric four-wheelers – the 100E, a two-person city commuter, and the C3, a small utility vehicle with a pickup-truck bed. By far the most popular with the Florida audience was the 100E. A significant amount of Florida residents rely on golf carts for transportation and they saw this as a unique twist on an old classic. What the consumers really liked were the enclosed space and the air conditioning.

Overall, consumers had only positive things to say about American Lifan’s new line of products. Lifan was not the only Chinese brand at AIMExpo and consumers were able to compare the Lifan products to the competitor’s products. Consumers were much more impressed with the Lifan body styling, build quality, and overall feel of the bikes than they were with other Chinese brands.
